Kids Birthday Party Rules 

To get the best value from your party,please read through the rules and know what to expect. We aim to provide the best value birthday party venue in Brisbane. We ask customers to respect the rules in order for us to preform your party as smoothly as possible and allow your party to be the best it can be. 

1. A non-refundable $50.00 deposit is required to book a party. We cannot guarantee party bookings until deposit is paid. Invitations will be provided once deposit is paid.

2. Birthday’s which are booked online will not be confirmed and booked until deposit is paid.

3. Upon booking approximate number of children must be provided. If you invite more children than you have booked for we will try to cater for your needs but cannot guarantee the extra rooms available due to other parties booked for the same time slot.

4. The $50.00 deposit can be transferred to another date and time as long as 2 weeks’ notice is given before date of original party. If less than two weeks is given another $50.00 deposit will be required to book second party date. 

5. A party attendance form will be given to you upon booking and paying deposit. This form needs to be filled out and returned to us at least 48 hours before the party. We need correct numbers and names of children attending so we can mark them off on arrival. The number of children confirmed at this time will be the number you will be charged for regardless of no shows. If you do not confirm number you will be charged for number of children booked. You will also be charged for any extra party guests that turn up on the day. (Approval from party parents will be requested before we let anyone in for your party which is not on the list). Please note that we will do our best to cater for space for any extra children that turn up on the day that are unconfirmed though we cannot guarantee space available.

6. Party snack food will be placed on the table upon arrival in party room. Within half an hour the hot food will then be placed on the table. We will top up the food once eaten by children for the next 20 mins. It is the responsibility of the parents of the birthday child to serve food and pour drinks for the children. Wriggle It’s staff will keep an eye on food levels and top up at appropriate times. If you have late guest arrivals we cannot extend the party time or change party schedule due to other parties booked. We ask all guests to arrive at party start time.

7. The food for the party is only available for children attending the party. If siblings of party guests or adults eat the party food, Wriggle It reserves the right to stop topping up food or charge the party parent the ‘extra child’ price for that child.

8. We do not allow any extra food into the Play Centre, this includes extra party food. We do however allow parents to bring their own cake and party bags.

9. Party Poppers are banned within Wriggle It Play Centre. We ask parents to not bring loot bags with Party Poppers as they are considered a projectile and are a health and safety risk to small children.

10. Our fridge space is limited. We may not be able to cater refrigeration for excessively sized cakes. Please check with staff before the party if you have an excessively sized cake.

11. We reserve a parents table with six chairs for the adult guest’s party. If you require extra seating we need you to book extra seating when you return your guest attendance form. We will endeavour to meet your needs but cannot guarantee tables available. We do recommend that if you have excessive numbers of adults coming to party, parties at 9:30am or 3:30pm may be better suited to your needs.

12. The parents table is reserved for the duration of the party. (1.5 hours) After this time we will ask you to kindly move to the general cafe area. We will endeavour to find suitable tables for you at this time though it is restricted to availability of cafe space.

13. For face painting included in the deluxe birthday package, the package includes 9 faces being painted and any extra children charged as guests. If you would like to add siblings to have their faces painted they will be charged at standard rate of $6.00 per child.

14. Standard party packages with face painting, price is charged at a minimum of $56.00 for 9 faces and then charged $6.00 for and extra children who have their faces painted.

15. Party prices are standard for 12mth – 14 years. If you have children under 12mths they will not be charged as a party guest. If they are a guest of a deluxe party you have the option to purchase the helium balloon, party bag and face painting separately for that child.

16. Orders of platters for adults attending party must be made at least 24 hours prior to party. Cancellation of Platters must be done at least 24 hours prior to party. They cannot be cancelled on the day of the party.

17. Birthday cakes ordered for the party must be ordered by the Wednesday prior to the party. Spelling of the birthday child’s name is the responsibility of the person ordering cake. Birthday cakes ordered cannot be cancelled less than 48 hours prior to party.

18. Wriggle It will provide plates and cups and candles for party. If you have special requirements for themes etc, please speak to party coordinator.

19. The price of the party at the time of booking is the price you will be charged regardless of price increases or specials advertised at the time of the party.

20. Conditions of Entry must be adhered to at all times whilst in the play centre. Conditions of Entry are displayed at the entry of the Play Centre.

21. We would like to have all guests attending our Play Centre to have a great time. At any time if you have a questions or complaint, please let staff know immediately so we can rectify any problems to the best of our ability.
